A wonderful antique buckle dating to the Victorian period to be worn during a period of mourning. The buckle features intricate black and white enamel detailing layered over  a gold base metal frame. 

There are some tiny patches of wear to parts of the white detailing which is only noticeable on very close inspection. The buckle remains in good antique condition overall.
